Evolution of the Avatar

So recently I saw a post on the Second Life Forums from 2011 where people were posting timelines of their avatar from the day they started to today. It was really funny to see all the different faces, we really have come a long way from 2006.

In light of this, I decided to take a trip down memory lane and try to dig up some of my old pictures from early avatar-hood. It was... crazy... to say the least. Here's my 2006-2014 timeline - I can't believe I let myself walk around dressed like I was back in the day.

How far has your avatar come since you first started Second Life?

Rain - SL Fashion

I look out my window

I used to think of you

and how we

spent our rainy days together

It's funny how memories stay with us

long after that person is gone

Some days 

I would miss you

when it rained

Other days

I would miss the time and

how we spent it together

My heart would fill

with sadness and pain

But nowadays

I don't feel any sadness nor pain

when it rains

I don't feel anything at all

It's the same feeling I have for you...
